School Policy

Our school will start at 08/20/2006 at Tate Center at Lumpkin street. Registration starts at 2:45 pm. Classes run at 3:00 pm -5:00 pm starting at the same day with a 20-minute recess between two 50-minute classes.

We appreciate parents to complete the pre-registration at http://www.athenschineseschool.org/registration.html.

Tuition and fees for fall semester are $100 per student, by cash or check payable to Bin.Li Families with multiple children are eligible for sibling special: a 10% discount is applied to a second child and 20% thereafter.

Tuition and fees cover instruction, books, and school-related activities. The amount is fully refundable if a student withdraws within the first two weeks of classes. Afterwards no refund is granted unless classes are cancelled by the school.

School don't supply snacks. For parents prepare snacks for your children, please instruct your child(ren) to clean up after they finish it

Parents, who are not teachers or current school board members, are required to serve on duty once per semester with one child enrolled and twice with more. Two parents are assigned each class day to supervise students during break and to tidy up classrooms after school. A duty schedule will be prepared and given to each parent.

Our two excellent teachers, Yongmei Zhang and Cheng, Xiaochun will leave the school for personal reasons. They are quite asset to our school. We appreciate their excellent job and wish them good luck. We welcome out senior teacher Ding, hongyan back to duty, and welcome Zeng, chenxin join the teacher team this year.

We cannot wait for the new and fantastic school year ahead at Chinese School. Last year, the school principle, Zeng, chengxin, with the board members, Chi, Guocheng and Shi, Xiaofang dedicated their personal resource to serve our community and did a great job as the other previous board members. The teachers also earned our parents respect by their hard working and creatively teaching for our kids. We show our highly admiration to all the people serving our community in various ways.

This year, Li, Bin, the mother of adorable twins,will server as the accountant of our school, Deng, Cheng-hua the father of Deng, qian and husband of our excellent teacher Ding, hongyan, will sever as associate principle and I, Yecheng Huang, father of Timmy Huang, will be the principle of the school. We are delighted to strive our best for such honor and opportunity.
