• Time: 10:30am - 2:00pm
• Place: UGA Lake Herrick Pavilion
• Program:
1. Arrival, food prep. / table setup, free activities (10:30am - 11:00 am)
2. Welcome and acknowledgments (11:00am - 11:05 am)
3. Graduation Ceremony ( 11:05am - 11:20am)
4. Student Talent Show ( 11:20pm - 12:00pm)
5. Leadership hand over (12:00pm - 12:05pm)
6. Pot-luck lunch ( 12:10pm - 2:00pm) and free activities

April 27,2008: Registration for 2008 Fall Semester Begins

April 20, 2008: Application Deadline for Graduation

An informal "graduation ceremony" will be held at the end-of-year party on 5/03/2008. Any students who have studied at UGACS for at least 1 full school year AND have since left or will be leaving the school after this semester will receive a "Certification of Completion" if registered by the deadline. Please send the student's information ( name both in Chinese-if applicable and English), the time period that the student studied at UGACS and the 暨南《中文》 book level completed to info@athenschineseschool.org.

April 6, 2008: New School Board and its Supporting Groups Elected!

• School Board for 2008 - 2009 School Year:
  Lihong Xie ( 谢力红 ): School Board Chair and Principal
  Xuehong Song ( 宋学红 ): School Board Member and Assistant Principal
  Jingying Xu ( 徐静颖 ): School Board Member and Treasurer
• School Board Support Groups:
  Lifang Wang ( 王丽芳 ): Leader of Parents Support Team
  Xiaofang Shi ( 史小芳 ): Leader of Extra-curriculum Activities Team
  Ying Tang ( 汤颖 ): Webmaster
  The leaders of each support groups will assemble their own members.

January 13, 2008, Spring Semester Begins:

• 1:00-2:40pm: BL1 class in Rm143. (BL1 parents: Please note the special schedule)
• 2:30-2:40pm: School Board meeting in Rm154.
• 2:40-2:50pm: Teachers briefing in Rm154. All teachers are required to attend.
• 2:50-3:00pm: L1-L6 students & parents arrival / orientation / sign-in.
• 3:00-4:55pm: L1-L6 classes.
• 3:00-5:00pm: Late registration continues (person in charge: Shi, Xiaofang)
• 4:55-5:05pm: L1-L6 parents sign-out & pickup of children.
